English Teacher, English Department Coordinator, Volunteer E.S.O.L. Teacher, Volunteer Computer E.S.O.L. Teacher and English Professor.
Hi!!! Dear all. It is just a pleasure to meet you. Now, I will introduce and talk a bit about myself:
I am Iboneth Beltran I have been in touch with languages for a while. First, as soon as I graduated from High School I went to Centro Colombo Americano in Bogota, Colombia and I was studying English for three years and I got my “Proficiency Certificate” also I studied at Alliance Colombo Francaise and I got my “Diplomes du D.E.L.F.”. Then, I went to Javeriana University to study Modern Languages, but I graduated from Libre University. I hold an M.A. in “Philology and Languages”
Later, I took my Specialization at Sabana University in “Educational Management” Now, I am taking a Master's in ELT (English Language Teaching) at Sabana University again. I would like to continue my studies on T.E.S.O.L education specially working and designing Adult Learning Educational Programs.
Now, talking about my teaching experience I have been teaching for 10 years. I had the chance to teach English from elementary, junior, middle, high school to University students. I had the opportunity to apply to teach an E.S.O.L course in New York City as a volunteer teacher, so this was the greatest experience of my whole life. I was teaching “English” to students of different parts of the world. This course took 5 months and I was able to carry on this encouraging challenge of teaching, learning and living new cultural experiences.
Later on, I went back to New York to join the administrative team of the program, so I was sent to check different Computer Classes that were given to E.S.O.L. students. As soon as I came back to Colombia I started working at the Education Faculty at Libre University. I was teaching “English” to the students majoring in Languages (English – French – Spanish) "in Training Teachers". Last semester, I worked at La Salle University where I was the “English Practice and Research Assesor” of 7th, 8th, and 9th semester students of “Modern Languages” "in Training Teachers". Now, I am working as a Counselor English Teacher for the Nursery Faculty at Sabana University.
Finally, I want to invite you all to visit this site and to take a look at the different advantages that "Learning English Language" and "How English Language can be learned, reinforced and improved". For that reason, I kindly advice you to take a look at the different septs presented and to explore much more sources. Also, I want to dedicate this web site to the most supportive person, the greast professional, the best English language coordinator, professor, teacher , boss also the best and most honest friend that someone can ask for: Mr. Christopher Jornales who gave me the opportunity of my life and let me enrich my teaching skills, gain ground and be a better person.
My Fondest regards,
Iboneth Beltran.
